Tell us briefly about you

I am from Uruguay, I took the Master in Management Coaching and Leadership, and I am currently running an online coaching and consulting agency for people and companies all over the world. I focus on leadership skills, talent, learning and development, as well as change management and transformation.

Tell us about your career

I started my professional career within organisations, initially in finance roles and later in roles such as Team Leader and Team Manager. Having built a solid professional profile within companies, I decided to embark on a journey of self-discovery, which sparked my desire to start and develop skills to manage my own project. Currently, I work in collaboration with other professionals worldwide.

Why did you decide to participate in the Leadership Workshop?

I decided to enroll in this workshop in my quest to further explore the world of leadership to become a Leader Coach. Knowing the quality of content offered by OBS Business School's programmes and based on my experience with other continuous learning offerings from OBS, I enrolled confident that it would be a good idea. I was unfamiliar with the workshop's dynamics and approach until it began, and I must confess... I was pleasantly surprised! It exceeded my expectations by far.

What did you learn from this Workshop?

It's a very dynamic and interactive workshop, offering a comprehensive approach that helps you better understand where you stand, your leadership style, and how you manage emotions from that position. From there, it's easier to recognise where you want to go and what you have to do to achieve it. That is, improving emotional management both for yourself and for the team you lead. This way, you practice empathy and foster a sense of belonging with your team, which helps develop collaboration and cooperation synergies.

In this sense, understanding my purpose and how to communicate it to my team has been crucial in my experience. Recognising my areas of improvement and learning to manage them has helped me achieve a mindset suitable for managing teams.

Did this Workshop help you identify tools to be more efficient?

Personally, the workshop was very useful for recognising my current state and the direction I want to go in, where I want to be, and what tools I need to get there. For example, seeing problems as opportunities, recognising my purpose and the intention behind each action, letting go of control, listening to understand, and trusting instead of doubting.

I particularly appreciate Josep and Pau's focus on feedback—how to give it, appropriate context, steps, and key behaviours for successful feedback. Some highlights of the workshop occurred when we focused on vision and purpose, two fascinating topics that the experts presented with enthusiasm and clarity.

How would you describe your experience with the Leadership Workshop?

My experience primarily involved a mindset transformation for leadership. Recognising reactive tendencies and creating creative environments to develop more efficient leadership skills in complex, dynamic, and changing environments. Learning to recognise opportunities for improvement to develop creative competencies and respond to environmental demands with an achievement-oriented, authentic, cooperative, and self-aware mindset centred on people.

I wholeheartedly recommend this workshop if you want to transform your current leadership into a more conscious and authentic one. Personally, I highly recommend Josep and Pau. It was a pleasure to meet them and share these sessions, thanks to all the classmates who participated and were open to exchanging ideas in individual instances and group dynamics.
