The Master's course " Strategy and Innovation Management" offers a comprehensive and contemporary approach to the latest innovation trends, providing students with insightful and applied knowledge of how companies can use innovation to achieve and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage.

The module proposes the analysis of the context for innovation, considering the technological life cycle as well as based exponential technologies, in order to understand how disruptive innovations can transform competitive paradigms. Through case studies, it will explore companies that have not only adapted to these changes, but have led the consolidation of new paradigms, offering a clear vision of market dynamics and successful business strategies.

Simultaneously, it addresses the internal management of innovation, discussing how organisations can develop effective strategies and execute them. Emphasis is placed on the creation of innovative business models, adapted to the current competitive environment, and on the implementation of the ambidextrous organisation concept, which allows companies to balance the exploration of new opportunities alongside the exploitation of existing ones. This integrated approach helps to understand how advanced technologies and disruptive innovation models can be effectively applied within organisations.
Throughout the module, the development of practical analytical and methodological skills is encouraged, focusing on the assessment and implementation of holistic innovation strategies.
The ultimate goal is to equip participants with the necessary competencies to identify innovation opportunities, formulate innovation-informed competitive strategies, and effectively manage change and innovation processes within organisations, preparing them to face the challenges of a global marketplace with a comprehensive strategic perspective.
