OBS celebrates another successful Alumni Day: “Cambio y Fuera” with Erika De La Vega
A High-Impact Virtual Event from the PFU Auditorium
On Tuesday, November 26, OBS Business School hosted its Alumni Day with Erika De La Vega, a live-streamed event from OBS’s YouTube channel. Organized by the Club Alumni Colombia, the event featured keynote speaker Erika De La Vega and her inspiring talk, “Cambio y Fuera”. The event brought together over 600 virtual attendees, offering a unique space for networking, reflection, and learning.
The event was held at the Planeta Formación y Universidades (PFU) Auditorium and featured distinguished speakers:
- Erika De La Vega, publicist, broadcaster, presenter, comedian, and producer, widely recognized for her extensive career in the entertainment industry.
- Dr. Casilda Güell, Dean of OBS Business School.
- Valeria González, Alumni Manager at OBS.
- Representatives from the Club Alumni Colombia, led by President Catalina Rendón and ambassadors Sebastián Valencia and Eduardo Gutiérrez.
The power of reinvention: insights from Erika De La Vega
Charismatic and experienced, Erika De La Vega took center stage during the event. Known for her work on Latin American Idol and her popular podcast "En Defensa Propia", Erika shared key insights into the importance of personal reinvention and how to embrace change.

The talk delved into how we can discover who we are beyond our jobs and what to do when the things we once loved no longer bring us happiness. Erika shared her three daily tools for focusing on the positive and creating a life aligned with our goals, as well as 10 key tips to become the person we aspire to be.
Global interaction and networking
The interactive format allowed attendees to actively participate with live questions and engage through YouTube’s chat, fostering a networking space that strengthened connections among members of the Alumni Community. During the event, the recent launch of the new Alumni Site was also announced. This exclusive platform is designed to keep OBS Community members connected and support their ongoing professional development.
