Albert Pérez's testimonial about the Master in Management Coaching and Leadership
Albert Pérez, Co-founder of Wavveup, shares his experience as a student of the Master in Management Coaching and Leadership at OBS.
"OBS gave me the opportunity to train online for the first time without losing proximity, and I was able to acquire self-responsibility that has helped me fulfill my professional dream".
Why did you decide to study this Master?
I chose the Master in Management Coaching and Leadership because it became evident to me that my passion lies in people management, particularly from the perspective of inspiration and development. Therefore, my goal was directly aligned with the desire to pursue a career in what truly impassioned me.
Why did you choose to study it at OBS?
During that period, I was relocating to Amsterdam and required online training. Consequently, my search focused on finding a Business School that offered distance learning options.
What benefits does the online methodology has for you?
For me, it was essential that OBS's methodology was online, precisely because I was looking for a Business School that was adapted and, moreover, excelled in this methodology because I was moving to another country to live. I was curious to find out if the coaching training would allow me to genuinely connect and conduct sessions smoothly, despite not being in-person.
What skills have you developed throughout the programme?
I believe that the Master in Management Coaching and Leadership is a programme that inherently involves learning and personal development. Throughout the programme, you challenge yourself and question certain beliefs and saboteurs that have arisen throughout your life. Additionally, you develop skills in conducting sessions, facing your fears, and providing value. This preparation is precisely what equips you to pursue coaching if it is one of your goals.
How has your experience been at OBS?
For me, the experience at OBS Business School has been very positive. It was my first time undergoing online training at this level, and I was pleasantly surprised by the closeness and self-responsibility that one can acquire throughout the program, which was one of my concerns at that time. Another consideration was establishing a close connection, particularly in coaching. I wondered if I would connect equally well with professors, peers, and clients during coaching sessions. Fortunately, the experience surpassed my expectations."
How do you imagine your professional future after your programme?
I am currently living and fulfilling my professional future. Right after completing the programme, I founded my company with a fellow Master's student. Currently, we are in the process of taking this project to an international scaling level, facing new challenges and opportunities.
What would you say to a person considering studying a Master’s at OBS?
What I would say to someone considering pursuing a Master's at OBS Business School is that if they truly want to invest in high-quality online education, OBS is a very good option to consider.
