My name is Rodrigo Pinto and I was born in Chuquicamata, a mining camp located next to the copper mine of the same name, one of the largest in the world. I am a Construction Engineer and I completed the Master in Project Management. I currently work as a Site Services Manager on the Nueva Centinela project, the largest mining project in Latin America today.
My career has spanned nearly the entire mining value chain, beginning with geological exploration, moving through engineering development and infrastructure construction, and culminating in operations. I have worked for some of the world's leading mining companies, such as Codelco Chile and BHP. Currently, I am a member of the Project Management team at Wood PLC, one of the largest engineering development companies globally.
Some time ago, I made a commitment to continuously evaluate my skills, ensuring that I maintain balance in both my professional life (by being an active team member) and my personal life (by balancing achievement with happiness).
