Tell us briefly about you

My name is Adriana Stainfeld, I'm from Uruguay and I've studied OBS' Master’s in CSR and Sustainable Leadership.

Tell us about your career

I'm truly passionate about education as a driver of social transformation. I hold a degree in Primary Education from Normale Institutes and a Postgraduate degree in Educational Center Management from the Catholic University of Uruguay. I have solid training in Group Facilitation through Gestalt, am a specialist in Nonviolent Communication, and have been a Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Fundación Salir Adelante for the past 15 years.

Currently, I work as an Independent Consultant in Social Development, focusing on strengthening and professionalizing the work of civil society organizations and companies in the field of social development.

Why did you decide to enroll in the Leadership Workshop?

During June 2024, I participated in the Leadership Workshop led by Josep Cosials and Pau Sastre. The four weeks of sessions were a fascinating journey of self-discovery, achieved through exercises, personal reflections, and group discussions. It reaffirmed that the first step always starts within oneself and highlighted the importance of mindset as a leader.

What have you learned with this workshop?

The importance and utility of models like the Leadership Circle, a tool that provides a 360º view of leadership. Through this model, we can work on both our creative competencies, which drive our leadership forward, and the reactive tendencies or blocks that prevent us from fully realizing our potential.

Have you been able to identify the tools you need to be more efficient?

Throughout the four sessions, I discovered and explored my own leadership: Where do I stand? What creative skills do I possess? What are my obstacles? What are my beliefs?

To be more efficient, I need to build and integrate the necessary tools when something isn’t flowing or when internal assumptions (beliefs) and behaviors hold me back. It’s essential to observe and address these factors in order to grow and progress.

What has your experience been with this service?

I highly recommend the Leadership Workshop, both for the expertise of the guiding team and for the valuable group experience of interacting with professionals from various fields.
