The Master in Production Management and Industrial Automation, with a Master's degree in lifelong learning, provides you with the theoretical and practical knowledge to be able to define a good industrial strategy and implement innovative production processes that allow an improvement in the monitoring and control of production and efficiency. You will work on change management through processes and develop your managerial and consultancy skills.
The programme prepares you to obtain two prestigious certifications in the sector: the Lean Green Belt Practitioner Manufacturing Certification from the Lean Management Institute (ILM) and the Six Sigma Certification from the Six Sigma Institute. In addition, as a Master's student, the school offers two exclusive and optional courses that prepare you to obtain the three Scrum.Inc certifications: Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Scrum@Scale Practitioner.

The objective of this subject is to understand the new realities that companies have to face in a BANI environment, where they put their focus and what makes them resilient, as well as to learn the main strategic business tools and, specifically, those specific to the operations area.

Throughout this course you will study in depth the keys to good industrial and operational management, through the application of the case study methodology; you will also see how the relationship between ownership and workers should be managed. Finally, you will focus on aspects related to logistics (imports/exports) and the evaluation of costs, from an operational perspective.

2. In-depth production and process improvement
This course will provide you with the necessary knowledge to design the supply chain strategy, as well as to manage it in an optimal way. To do so, it will cover topics such as operations planning, purchasing management, transport management and incoterms, among others.

Final Project and Additional activities
This programme is designed to complement the content of the thematic blocks with the necessary training to achieve their internalisation. The training is conceived from a threefold perspective: technical assistance, personal support and individual and group challenges that are necessary to achieve the objectives set.

Introductory workshop | Campus Training
Before the start of the academic year, students will have the opportunity to attend an introductory workshop on the Campus where they will be provided with the tools and knowledge necessary for the correct use of the platform during the academic year.
Professional Development Programme (PDP)
Two weeks before the start of the academic year, students will be able to participate in a professional development programme where they will work hand in hand with a teacher to develop different skills such as time management, productivity and stress management and emotional intelligence. Upon completion of the workshop, and provided that the relevant activities have been carried out, a certificate of completion can be obtained.
The Master's Final Project must be a real plan for partial or total improvement of some area of the Operations of a real company. The improvement may focus exclusively on processes or affect people, organisation, strategy, etc. The project must include an analysis phase, a theoretical implementation phase and a real implementation phase if possible (partial or total).
The Master's in Production Management and Industrial Process Improvement is complemented by lectures and seminars given in each of the blocks. These additional activities are carried out by renowned professionals in business management who, by means of videoconferences, present their experiences and practical cases.

Course: Preparation for Scrum.Inc. Certifications
Once you have completed the programme, you will have the option to enrol in the preparation course for the Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner and Scrum@Scale Practitioner certifications of the Agile Education programme offered jointly with Scrum Inc. and BK® Consulting. The costs associated with the course are not included.
Company visits
During the development of the programme, the student will have the opportunity to attend synchronous videoconferences with experts in the area of the programme. They will share their experience and provide best practices in the sector.
Webinars
Most of the training is done asynchronously, that is, the exchange of knowledge is done through a platform that allows sharing written texts without the need for people to be connected at the same time.
Additionally, in each of the modules, synchronous sessions or 'webinars' are organised, where all participants are connected at the same time through an application, which allows the exchange of knowledge in 'real time'.

After successfully completing the Master's degree and having completed the relevant procedures, you will receive the Master's degree from OBS Business School. In addition, you will have the possibility of obtaining a longlife learning Master's degree from the University of Barcelona (UB), provided that you meet the established academic, documentation, payment, and administrative requirements.
To obtain it, you must have a university degree. In the exceptional case of not having this degree and having passed the Master's evaluations, you will obtain a Higher University Diploma from the University of Barcelona (UB).
