Luís Miguel Aragón, Senior Corporate Buyer in Sinercorp S.A.C. - Corporación Jeruth, shares his opinion as a student of the Master in Supply Chain Management and Logistics at OBS.
"Definitely an online master's degree is a challenge, I would encourage you to make the decision to go for OBS because for me it has fulfilled all expectations, everything I expected in the master's degree and everything I imagined it would be has been translated into very concrete things".
Why did you decide to study this Master's degree?
I was looking to pursue studies in Spain, a master's degree in Spain. I was very interested in the fact that it is 100% online, and I was also intrigued by the agreement it has with the University of Barcelona, a globally renowned university that is also well-known in Peru.
What did you think of the Student ON Methodology?
For me, it was definitely a challenge because my education has always been in-person. The opportunity to do the master's degree online and explore new learning methodologies, participate in forums with diverse classmates from different parts of the world in different time zones, required me to develop and learn new skills to interact in a completely different setting like international networks and the online system. This aspect was one of the driving forces behind my decision to pursue the Master's, as it was a new tool and skill that I was unfamiliar with.
Have you been able to develop new skills during the Master?
Yes, definitely, my entire professional career has been developed in the field of logistics, and it is closely linked to my country. Although I also work extensively in international trade and have contact with different countries, thanks to the opportunities and advancements in technology applied to distribution. In the way international business is conducted today, I have seen a strong alignment with the concepts and innovative approaches covered in the master's program. These are new ideas that were not previously known, and I am taking advantage of them in my work
Would you recommend the OBS Business School Masters?
Definitely an online master's degree is a challenge, I would encourage you to consider choosing OBS because for me it has met all expectations. Everything I expected and imagined about the master's degree has been translated into very concrete things. Nowadays, I interact and know many more people from Latin America through the master's degree. I have made new friendships that I have been able to establish through the internet, and we still maintain some kind of contact with them.
