Alice Demolder's testimonial about the Incubation Programme

Alice Demolder, student of the Master's in Project Management, shares her experience participating in the Incubation Programme offered by the Career Services area.
"The most important thing the programme taught me is that starting a business isn't impossible. It's still dauting, but now I know it can be done".
My name is Alice, and I am a 22-year-old student and entrepreneur from Belgium. I hold a bachelor's degree in marine biology, which will soon be complemented by a Master's in Project Management. Alongside my studies, I enjoy being an entrepreneur and I am currently working on starting my own business in the networking industry.
Being an entrepreneur is a new and sometimes intimidating experience. That’s why I decided to participate in this program—to gain a clearer understanding of what it means to be an entrepreneur and how to navigate the process.
The most important thing the programme taught me is that starting a business isn’t impossible. It’s still daunting, but now I know it can be done. I used to think that others succeeded because they had things I didn’t, but I’ve realized that I am just as capable. Another key takeaway is that I now have a solid understanding of how to move forward. The programme was easy to follow, so I never felt discouraged. It not only helped me develop a business idea but also refine it.
I would definitely recommend it to students or alumni who wish to become entrepreneurs but don’t know where or how to start.
