Keeping up with transformation – Thriving in an evolving landscape

On the 6 and 7 of February took place the 2024 EFMD Deans Conference, an annual gathering where leaders from different business schools meet to discuss the most relevant issues in education and exchange best practices to address current and future challenges.

This year's conference was hosted by the University of Amsterdam and was held in the heart of the capital, where around 400 deans and CEOs from international educational institutions such as Dr. Casilda Güell, Dean of OBS Business School, gathered. 

The title of this year's conference was "Keeping up with Transformation - Thriving in an Evolving Landscape", as in light of significant changes in business education trends and societal demands, it is increasingly important that deans and directors can come together in a trusted space to share key insights to help optimise schools' objectives, as well as reflect on the future of education, research and partnerships with industry. Throughout the conference, important topics such as the management of technological innovation, the impact of women as leaders in business schools, the transformation of education through artificial intelligence, the challenge of migration and the best strategies for building ecosystems that drive business innovation were addressed.

The Foundation has a network of over 30,000 academic and business management professionals and aims to develop socially responsible leaders and managers who seek opportunities to connect. The institution is recognised worldwide as an accrediting body for business schools, business school programmes and corporate universities.
